Please read this document carefully before booking or attending any class. By booking a class through Momoyoga, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all sections below.
Classes offered by Junna Mind & Motion are movement-based group and individual sessions. Depending on the session, classes may include any combination of the activity types listed below. Specific class formats — such as Pilates for Runners, Power Pilates, and Restorative Pilates — may draw from the full range of activities described here. Participants are covered for all activity types listed in this section regardless of the specific class they have booked.
Activities include movement and fitness work (Pilates mat and equipment-based exercises, functional and strength training, barre, plyometric and sprinting drills, core, balance, posture, dance-inspired movement, and walking or jogging), flexibility and mobility work (stretching, assisted stretching, yoga-inspired movement, foam rolling, and mobility exercises), and relaxation and mind-body work (breathing exercises, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, somatic and restorative movement, guided meditation and visualisation, nervous system regulation, body scan, and mindfulness-based movement). Classes are delivered as group sessions, private one-on-one sessions, workshops, and outdoor pop-up events.
Classes are taught outdoors (on grass, sand, uneven terrain, pavement, and concrete) and indoors (at partner studios and social spaces) across the Netherlands. Music may be used during classes. Indoor sessions may use candles, essential oils, or scented products during relaxation or restorative sessions.
Depending on the session, classes may use fitness and Pilates equipment (mats, resistance bands, soft balls, dumbbells, foam rollers, stability balls, massage balls), yoga and barre props (blocks, straps, chair, wall), and relaxation props (bolsters, blankets, eye pillows, candles, essential oils). Suitable footwear or bare feet may be required depending on the surface and activity type.
I understand and acknowledge that participation in movement-based classes involves inherent risks during and after participation, including but not limited to:
Physical risks:
• Muscle soreness, strain, or injury
• Joint pain or injury
• Falls, slips, or loss of balance
• Cardiovascular exertion, including risks associated with pre-existing cardiovascular conditions
• Dizziness, fatigue, or breathlessness
• Muscle fatigue from strength or HIIT-based exercises
• Impact-related risks during plyometric or sprinting exercises
• Slipping or tripping on uneven terrain, pavement, or concrete during outdoor classes
• Tripping or falling in dimly lit indoor environments
• Heat exhaustion or heat-related illness during outdoor classes in warm weather or in warm studio environments
• Cold-related discomfort or risk during outdoor classes in cold weather, particularly during still or floor-based activities
• Allergic or respiratory reactions to essential oils, scented diffusers, candles, or outdoor allergens such as pollen, grass, or insects
• Skin reactions from contact with essential oils if used in hands-on work
• Burns or fire hazard from candles in indoor environments
• Contact with equipment
Mind-body & neurological risks:
• Emotional or physical responses triggered by relaxation, breathing exercises, stress release exercises, somatic techniques, or Progressive Muscle Relaxation — including in individuals with a trauma history
• Seizures or epileptic episodes triggered by intensive breathing exercises or hyperventilation in individuals with epilepsy or a history of seizures
• Dizziness or light-headedness from breathing exercises
In rare and extreme cases, participation in physical exercise may result in serious injury requiring medical treatment, pain and suffering, permanent disability, a significant change in quality of life, or death.
These risks exist even when the instructor takes all reasonable professional precautions and instructions are followed correctly.
The instructor may use hands-on guidance during classes for technique corrections, alignment, assisted stretching, and light grounding or calming touch during somatic and relaxation exercises. By agreeing to this waiver, participants consent to this contact. Participants may decline at any time by informing the instructor verbally — this will always be respected without question. In a medical emergency, the instructor may administer basic first aid regardless of this preference.
I confirm that my participation in classes offered by Junna Mind & Motion is entirely voluntary. I am not required or obligated by any third party to participate. I freely choose to take part in movement-based classes and accept the risks associated with doing so.
I confirm that:
• I am at least 18 years of age.
• I am aware that some activities may not be suitable during pregnancy and will inform the instructor before class if relevant, so that appropriate modifications can be offered.
• I do not have any known medical condition, injury, or physical limitation that would make participation unsafe, OR I have consulted a qualified medical professional or physiotherapist who has confirmed that participation is safe for me.
• I do not have any known cardiovascular condition that would make participation in movement-based classes unsafe, OR I have consulted a qualified medical professional who has confirmed that participation is safe for me. I understand that some sessions or formats may involve higher intensity activity and I will inform the instructor of any cardiovascular concerns before class.
• I do not have epilepsy or a history of seizures that could be triggered by breathing exercises, OR I have consulted a qualified medical professional who has confirmed that participation is safe for me.
• I do not have hypermobility or joint instability that would make participation unsafe without modification, OR I have informed the instructor and will follow appropriate modifications.
• I am not taking any medication that significantly affects my balance, heart rate, heat tolerance, or physical capacity in a way that would make participation unsafe, OR I have consulted a qualified medical professional who has confirmed that participation is safe for me.
• I do not have any allergy or sensitivity to essential oils, scented products, or candles, OR I will inform the instructor before class so appropriate adjustments can be made.
• I do not have any psychological condition, mental health difficulty, or trauma history that would make participation unsafe, OR I have consulted a qualified mental health professional who has confirmed that participation — including relaxation, somatic, stress release, and Progressive Muscle Relaxation exercises — is safe for me. I acknowledge personal responsibility for assessing my own suitability for mind-body and stress release activities. This acknowledgement does not affect the protections set out in Sections 7.3 and 7.4 of this waiver.
• I understand it is my responsibility to stop exercising and inform the instructor immediately if I feel unwell, dizzy, experience pain, or feel unable to continue safely during class.
• I understand that the instructor may offer modifications and that it is my responsibility to choose modifications appropriate for my fitness level and physical condition.
• I will inform the instructor before class of any recent injuries, conditions, physical or mental health changes, allergies, or limitations that may be relevant to my participation.
• I understand that the instructor is not a medical professional and cannot provide medical diagnoses or advice.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in classes offered by Junna Mind & Motion, I agree to the following:
7.1 I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in movement-based classes, both during and after participation, including those described in Section 3 of this document.
7.2 To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, I release, discharge, and hold harmless Junna Mind & Motion and its instructor(s) from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liability arising during or after participation, including but not limited to:
• Personal injury, muscle soreness, or joint pain sustained during or after classes arising from the inherent risks of physical exercise, where the participant confirmed their suitability to participate;
• Emotional or physical responses arising during or after relaxation, breathing, somatic, stress release, or Progressive Muscle Relaxation exercises, including responses related to a trauma history;
• Seizures or neurological episodes triggered by breathing exercises in individuals with epilepsy or a history of seizures;
• Allergic, respiratory, or skin reactions to essential oils, scented products, candles, or outdoor allergens;
• Injury or adverse effects arising from undisclosed pre-existing medical or psychological conditions, hypermobility, joint instability, or medication;
• Heat or cold-related illness, falls, slips, or injuries arising from outdoor or indoor environmental conditions including weather, terrain, dim lighting, or warm studios;
• Any injury arising from failure to follow instructor guidance, offered modifications, or failure to stop exercising when feeling unwell or in pain; loss of or damage to personal belongings; and any financial loss arising from or connected to participation in classes.
7.3 This release does not apply in cases of negligence, gross negligence, or intentional misconduct on the part of Junna Mind & Motion or its instructor(s).
7.4 Nothing in this waiver excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, as required by mandatory Dutch law (Burgerlijk Wetboek).
7.5 Junna Mind & Motion carries professional liability insurance (Bedrijfsaansprakelijkheidsverzekering) as required.
This waiver is valid indefinitely from the date of first agreement and applies to all classes and Activities booked or attended by the Participant with Junna Mind & Motion, unless a revised waiver is issued and agreed to by the Participant. If Junna Mind & Motion makes material changes to this waiver, Participants will be asked to agree to the updated version before their next booking.
This waiver is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this waiver shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands.
If any term or provision of this waiver is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under Dutch law, all remaining terms and provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalidity of one clause does not affect the validity of the waiver as a whole.
Junna Mind & Motion accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal belongings brought to classes, whether held outdoors or indoors at any location in the Netherlands.
By booking a class through the Momoyoga platform, I confirm that:
• I have read this Liability Waiver and Health Declaration in full and understand the activities, risks, and conditions involved.
• I voluntarily choose to participate, meet the health and age requirements in Section 6, and accept all associated risks.
• I consent to hands-on guidance as described in Section 4 and understand my right to decline at any time.
• I agree to release Junna Mind & Motion from liability as described in Section 7, to the extent permitted by Dutch law.
By completing a booking via Momoyoga, participants confirm their agreement to this waiver. Booking records are maintained as evidence of agreement.
Personal data collected in connection with bookings is processed in accordance with the Junna Mind & Motion Privacy Statement. Please read in full before completing your booking.
