2. What Data We Collect
We collect and process the following personal data:
• First and last name
• Email address
• Payment information (processed securely via Momoyoga and their payment providers)
• Booking and attendance history
• Health information voluntarily shared by participants (e.g. by email prior to class) — retained only until after the class it relates to, then deleted
• Photographs or video recordings taken during classes, only with your prior verbal consent
3. Why We Collect Your Data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
• To process and manage class bookings and payments
• To send booking confirmations and class reminders
• To ensure the safety of participants during classes
• To communicate about our classes and services (with your consent)
• To promote Junna Mind & Motion on social media (photos/video — only with your prior verbal consent)
• To meet our legal and administrative obligations
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data on the following legal grounds:
• Performance of a contract: to fulfil your booking and deliver classes
• Legitimate interest: to manage and improve our services
• Consent: for marketing communications and photography (verbal consent obtained before any photos or videos are taken or published)
• Explicit consent and vital interests (Article 9(2)(a) and 9(2)(c) GDPR): for health information voluntarily shared by participants to ensure their safety
• Legal obligation: where required by Dutch law
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes listed above, or as required by law.
Booking and payment data is retained for a maximum of 7 years in accordance with Dutch tax regulations.
Where a participant voluntarily shares health information with us (e.g. by email prior to class), we process this on the basis of explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR) and to protect their vital interests during class (Article 9(2)(c) GDPR). Such information is used solely to ensure the participant’s safety and is deleted after the class or session it relates to. We do not retain health information beyond that point.
Photographs and videos are retained for as long as they remain relevant to promoting Junna Mind & Motion, or until you request their removal via email, whichever comes first. Photos and videos are stored on the instructor’s personal device, Google Drive, and any social media platforms on which they are published (such as Instagram). Upon a removal request, photos will be deleted from all of these locations.
6. Third Parties
We share your data only where necessary:
• Momoyoga: our booking and payment platform (data stored in the Netherlands, GDPR compliant)
• Payment providers: for secure payment processing (current payment methods are listed on the Momoyoga booking platform)
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)
• Receive a copy of your personal data in a portable format (right to data portability, Article 20 GDPR)
